It was about intensive vegetable gardening, fruit and flower gardening and urban gardening, container, square foot gardening, composting, biodiversity and ecology, and greener cities.
Container gardening, or square foot gardening, rooftop garden, using the smallest spaces to grow vegetables and flowers, that is what we are interested in. This is a way of adding biodiversity and greening cities and towns, since if you live in the country you are surrounded by green, and might fancy a concrete block in your garden as art (there is a whole park full of these sculptures in Yorkshire). But in an urban environment, a bit of green is a pleasant change or even a surprise.
This site is from Building DIY com and will focus on gardens and gardening tips rather than garden structures and buildings, driveways, fencing etc. which we advise about in our main site.
